"Rite of Passage Contest" Official Rules
1. HOW TO ENTER: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. To enter, complete the online form. You must be a legal resident of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia and 18 years of age or older to be eligible. All federal, state and local regulations apply. Void where prohibited. Employees of Moody Publishers and its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers and agencies and their immediate family members and persons living in their household are not eligible to enter this sweepstakes. All entries become the sole property of sponsor and will not be returned or acknowledged. Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are late, misdirected, lost, garbled, or unintelligible, including those due to computer or network malfunction or congestion (including at sponsor), and any such entries are not eligible.
2. CONTEST PERIOD: The contest begins September 15, 2011 @ 12:01 am (CDT) and ends October 5, 2011 @ 5:00 pm (CDT).
3. WINNER: One (1) winner will be chosen at random from all eligible entries received by the entry deadline. Winner will be notified by e-mail on or about October 15, 2011. Winner will be required to complete, execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release within seven (7) days of the date of notification. In addition, the Winner’s traveling companion must execute a Liability Release within the same time period. Noncompliance with these conditions by the deadline will result in disqualification, and sponsor reserves the right to select an alternate winner in such circumstance.
4. PRIZE: Winner will choose a parent child retreat from one of the camps listed. They will attend a retreat of their choice. Travel costs are not included. No transfer or cash or other substitution of prize permitted, except by sponsor, which reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize or prize component with another of comparable or greater value.
5. GENERAL CONDITIONS: By participating, entrants agree to abide by these official rules. Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for sponsor to publish, post online, or otherwise refer to the names of the winners in any and all forms and media throughout the world, and for any and all publicity or promotional purposes, without obligation or compensation, except where prohibited by law. Entrants agree to release and hold harmless sponsor, its parent, subsidiaries and other affiliated companies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents and members from and against any and all liability, loss, claims, demands, and causes of action for personal injury and/or damage, theft, loss, or any other harm suffered in connection with this sweepstakes or the use/misuse or acceptance of any prize or any portion thereof.
